Our sizes are standard. If you usually wear a size 8, order a size 8. If you wear a half size, such as an 8½, order the next size up, a 9. It is normal to feel a little cramped in the moccasins at the first fitting. The leather will quickly soften and fit your feet perfectly. You don't order the right size? I have a very narrow foot so these were a bit wide, but a heavier pair of socks and/or insole should help. Would have liked a little bit taller so top of tongue doesn't dig into leg, but some wearing in should alleviate that. Great pair of boots for a reasonable price.

The zipper was very handy when I wanted to remove my rain pants quickly on the trail. I also wore on our flight to Calgary and they were comfortable, not too hot. I would highly recommend them.
